TYPE SPECIMEN

OBJECTIVE 

The goal of this project was to create promotional materials for a type foundry launching a new typeface. The primary audience for this campaign is graphic designers. The chosen typeface for promotion is Brother 1816, a versatile family featuring 16 standard weights, developed by TipoType.

CONCEPT 

A saddle-stitched sketchbook was selected as the promotional material—practical, affordable, and always within reach. The concept centers around exploring the typeface through brother-themed poems. Brother 1816 performs beautifully both as body copy and display type. The use of calm colors and a minimalist layout ensures the focus remains on the typeface, allowing it to shine without distraction.
