DECORATING DETAILS
OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this project was to redesign a book that would greatly benefit from a refreshed and improved design. It had to contain large images and all the necessary components. Sample spreads needed to be redesigned such as Front Cover, Spine, Back Cover, Full Title Page, Table of Contents, Chapter Opener, Text +Images, Mostly Images (2 spreads), and Mostly Text (2 spreads).

CONCEPT
Martha Stewart’s Decorating Details offers distinctive content paired with stunning interior images, catering primarily to women aged 30-60 who are passionate about home decor and enhancing their living spaces. The goal was to refine the book’s structure to highlight these beautiful decor images while creating an inviting, cohesive experience. With this target audience in mind, the design concept focused on warmth, coziness, and simplicity, ensuring the book felt both approachable and stylish.
